For those of you who might not know, I do an interview series for Faygoluvers.net called 20 Min with..... In this series I interview various artists for about 20 min. Now the difference in my interviews is that I take a lot of pride in asking questions that other interviewers may not. For instance I interviewed Potluck a while ago. At one point I began asking about their song "My Dad" and in the interview I ask 1 Ton about his father who just passed and how much of an influence their fathers were on their career. The question seemed to catch them off guard a little bit. But that is what I do. I actually research my interview subject and try my best not to ask the same thing they get asked all the time.
I also review albums on the website. All of my reviews are 100% honesty as far as my opinion. Now I have had artists ask me to remove my review once it was posted because they were not happy with my thoughts. I will never remove a review once it is posted. I also will never give a glowing review if the album does not deserve it. I take pride in giving constructive criticism. I also take pride in being genuine. I don't get paid to do reviews or interviews. I do it because I love music and the genre of Horror Core. I would be lying if I said I didn't hope at some point in the future I could get paid for those things but for now it isn't happening.
If you want to check out my interview series head over to https://www.youtube.com/user/FaygoluversHeaven/videos and check out my latest and greatest with Mr. Grey, Sozay, Ganxsta NIP, Zug Izland, Cryptic Wisdom, Slaine, and many more.
To read my album reviews head over to http://www.faygoluvers.net/v5/category/reviews/albumreviews/ and look for reviews posted by Juggalotus0069.
I hope to keep this blog more current as I have been hella busy and slacking. If you dig my blog here and want to help spread the word I would seriously appreciate it! Please leave me some comments and let me know you checked it out and where you are from. I am really interested in where my readers are at!

What exactly is Pay to Play?
Promoters are often shady and take advantage of artists. I have pointed this out in several blogs on here. But not all promoters are snakes. Not all promoters want to screw the artists over. The one thing all promoters have in common is they invest their own money into booking shows. They have to pay for artist travel, hotel, riders, venue cost, ticket cost, promotional materials, and much more. This can be a very expensive venture and a promoter wanting to protect themselves so they do not continue to hemorrhage money hosting shows should be acceptable. At the same time not every artist is shady. They all don't want to get on shows for free, be allowed to not sell any tickets or get fans in the door, or have nothing invested in the shows they do. This blog is here to clear up my thoughts on show promotion and how in the end everyone can make money and be happy.
One of the most popular and shady promoter tactics is called Pay to Play. I recently started planning a
show here in Tucson and was accused of this tactic. So this blog is my response to this accusation and hopefully a better understanding of what the term means and why what I do is not pay to play.
The most simple explanation is this, paying to play is where artists pay the promoter a certain amount of money to secure a spot on the show. That money gets the artist nothing in return except a 10-20 min slot on the show. The artist gives the promoter the cash and gets no money in return. Quite simply they "Pay to Play." The biggest problem with this is that most promoter that do this do not care about the show. They only care about the money. They will book 10-15 openers at $150-200 per opener and essentially make their money off of the artist. They don't care about getting fans in the door or "Promoting" the show. To them their money is made off the openers. This leads to minimal crowds for the headliners and really poor performances. By doing this these promoters ruin tours and shows for everyone. All the benefits are on the promoters side.
Another tactic promoters use is having openers sell tickets to secure the spot. They will consign the openers a certain number of tickets (25-50 usually) and have them give them the money from the sales the day of the show. This is a perfect scenario for the artist. They get the tickets and are expected to sell them to secure the spot. There are three major problems with this. First all of the money from those sales is expected to be handed over to the promoter the day of the show. So the artist once again makes no money. It becomes a pay to play scenario which brings in fans by the artists hustling ticket instead of the promoter. These shows have a better turn out because of this but the artist is still without payment. The second problem is in the fact that the artists don't have to sell the tickets, they simply have to give the promoter the cash the day of the show. So this still allows for artists with minimal skills or hustle to get onto shows and not have to bring one person in the door. And finally if the artists do not sell tickets and show up with no money the promoter is really assed out and either has to let them perform or have a huge hole in their lineup. The benefits work more in the artists benefit here but still leave the financial benefit in the promoters hands.
The final way of promoting and booking a show is what I prefer. I ask the artists put a deposit on the tickets I ask them to sell. In this case I am asking the artist "buy" 25 tickets from me for $6 per ticket. This means when they pick up the tickets I receive $150. After they have the tickets they are allowed to sell them for $8 per ticket and keep all of the money from the sales, this is $200. So by selling the 25 tickets required they make $50 in the end. After the 25 tickets I sell them tickets at $4 per ticket and they sell them for $8 per ticket making $4 for every ticket they sell. So lets do some simple math:
Artist buys 25 tickets at $6 per ticket-I (promoter) get $150
They sell them for $8 per ticket- They (Artist) get $200. A $50 profit in their pocket.
Lets say they sell another 25. They purchase them from me for $4/ticket- I get another $100.
They sell those for $8/ticket. They get $200. Another $100 in profit.
So as you can see in this scenario I as the promoter am able to protect my investment in the show, the artists has a chance to make some good money with their hustle in ticket sales, and the fans are brought to the show because of the sales. This is the closest thing to a win-win in the business. The artist does take risk in the ticket deposit but that is mitigated when they sell the tickets. I as the promoter take a risk someone will "pay to play" and not bring anyone in the door but that is mitigated by the fact the artists have an opportunity to make money. I don't know anyone in their right mind knowing they can sell 25 tickets that wouldn't take the risk in the deposit to make $50 or more.
No situation is perfect and all can be abused. But I can promise any artist I work with an honest and fair deal that can be mutually beneficial. I can also promise that any artist on my shows that "pay to play" will never be asked to do any of my shows again. I am willing to give anyone a chance until they burn me. I want artists that are willing to put in as much effort as me in promoting, getting fans in the door, and putting on the best shows in Tucson.
We need to start being fair and helping each other make money. We need to get away from the me first attitude. The what are you going to do for me while I do nothing for you mentality. I would love to get your thoughts and opinions so feel free to let me know!

Twiztid Abominations Tour review
It has been like 20 days since my last post on here, but I have been hella busy and trying to do a lot for Faygoluvers! On Nov 17, 2012 Twiztid rolled through Tucson, AZ on their Abominationz tour and I was there to interview Potluck and check it out! Here is what went down and how I think the show went.
My wife and I left the house and got to The Rock about 20 min before the doors opened. Twiztid had tweeted out earlier in the day the venue was tiny but having never been there I had no idea. I do gotta give a shout out to the Potluck Street Team leadership as they supplied my ticket for the show! Anyway the doors opened and when we got inside I could see what Mono was talking about, the place was tiny! I think it maybe could hold 300-400 people if they were packed in wall to wall. We checked out the merch booth and saw some cool stuff but didn't have any $$ to get anything this time. Then it was showtime.
The first group up was Cultivate Creative Sounds or CCS Crew, a local staple here in Tucson. I have to say that my experience with Faygoluvers has been a blessing and a curse. It has been a blessing because I am getting to hear a ton of music from smaller acts and it has shaped my ear if you will to be more astute, a curse cause it has made me listen to music different and be more skeptical of new groups I haven't heard. That being said I was cautiously optimistic when they went on stage. My wife and I were blown away. These guys knew how to put on an energetic show that kept the crowd into it and definitely set the show off on the right foot. After their set we went and talked to them and set up an interview with them for later in the night. I will have that interview posted here in the next few days. They definitely gave me a good feeling about the music scene here in Tucson.
Next up was Potluck and I was very excited, I love these guys. Let me say I have now seen them twice live and they have yet to disappoint me. They did a ton of classics like "Stoner Bitch", "Hotbox Anthem", and "STFU" while adding newer flavor like "Pot City". They threw down a hella tight set and made themselves available after for autographs, pics, etc. I hit em up and got to sit down with them for an interview! You can see that here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAzn66C8mD8&feature=plcp.
While we were in back talking with them Lil Wyte went on stage and did his set. We missed all but the end of his set so I can't say if he did well or not. The crowd seemed to really like his set though.
Then it was time for me to interview Potluck. We went outside the venue and found a spot under a streetlight. Did the interview for about 20 min and during that time Hed PE came on stage. We caught the end of their set and while it did have people moshing and had decent metal I did not enjoy the Liberal interludes Jerod put in. I remember a time when Anarchists hated all government and fought the man, not sided with one or the other parties or affiliations. Kind of a let down but the crowd was digging it.
Then it was time for the headliners, Twiztid. We worked our way like 2 rows back from the stage middle. They came out and kicked it off with Bad Side off Abominationz. They worked a lot of classics in their set and added 5 tracks from the new album, "Bad Side", "Unstoppable", "Rep That Wicked", "This is your Anthem", and "LDLHAIBCSYWA" This set was not quite as good as the one they had for the American Psychos tour but it was still hella cool. The boys know how to set the crowd off and make the show hype as hell.
When the show was over we left and headed home. All in all another great show. My one complaint was the crowd. This had to be one of the worst crowds I have ever seen a show with. The venue being small was bad enough but it isn't like the extra 3 inches someone would get from crushing my wife and I was going to make Twiztid stop the show and be like "Hey come on stage with us you are so flipping cool" The crowd was rude, self absorbed, pushy, and willing to do things like pull my wife's hair to get her out of the way to get closer to the stage. For those that follow my blog you know that I am a huge supporter of the Fam, but I draw the line when the fam intentionally hurts another to "get closer" to the stage in a club where Twiztids sweat would hit you no matter where you were! The crowd was a lot of younger Juggalos and I think that was the problem. I have found as the years have gone by that younger Juggalos have less respect for the traditions of the Family. They feel entitled to everything from spot in the crowd to basic respect. They think being a Juggalo is a fad or something cool to do, they don't understand we as Juggalos/Juggalettes look out for one another and make sure no one gets hurt. I am hoping it was an isolated experience but fear it isn't. That alone did not take away from the fact the show was the bomb. Twiztid did it again and I cannot wait for their next album, tour, or whatever they are gonna do.
That's it for me fam. Lets remember what being a Juggalo or Juggalette means and show love at these shows.

Huge news!
This week has been awesome for me and all of my performers. First off I found out I am getting a new job in Tucson, AZ. What does this mean for my music ventures? It simply means that Wicked Butterfly Entertainment is expanding our wings to cover Arizona now too! So for those AZ Juggalos and Underground artists be ready cause we are coming out there and taking over!! Second, Black Project will finally be exposed to the world in the form of their debut album, Highly Classified, on 4/20/2013. This album will be fifteen tracks and contain five tracks with exclusive features. I can say we will have a collab with none other than that underground hustla Mars. I confirmed this week we will also have a song featuring a guy who is blowing up thanks to a little EP you might have heard of, Underground Avengers, Bukshot will make an appearance! There are 3 other artists we are in negotiations with at the moment and until I have confirmation I have to keep those Highly Classified.
Wicked Butterfly Entertainment is proud to be a few of the featured acts at this years Slaughterfest in Albuquerque, NM on Sept 28 and 29. Thanks to Bloodshot for making that happen. I can promise you we are bringing that straight West Texas fire. I really don't think you all are ready for the flavor we are bringing. Draztik the Terrible will be representing on day one. Black Project and Sikone will be holding it down on Day two! So come check it out if you are in the area, I promise you will not be disappointed.
Sikone will have his debut album sometime in the near future. The album will be called Powerfull. As of right now it is unknown exactly what will come out of the reborn Sikone but I can say he is always unpredictable and never disappoints.
Draztik the Terrible is slated to release Between Heaven and Hell on Dec 21, 2012. As of today I cannot say what or who will be on the album but I can say he has been putting in work. He has been writing, recording, remixing, and doing all he can to make this one of this years hottest releases.
We have so much flavor coming to your earholes the next 12 months it is unbelievable! So be on the lookout for all updates here on the blog and on my Twitter and Facebook.

We invade tomorrow night!
Yes you heard that right Tomorrow night in Albuquerque, NM the entire Wicked Butterfly crew will be performing at The Orchid Chamber! This is New Mexico's first chance to see the full lineup all in the same night. I am talking Draztik the Terrible, Black Project Productions, and Sikone! This show promises to be an event for the ages.
As I said in my last blog this is not just a music event it is a bridging of the divide. New Mexico and West Texas have a huge amount of talent to share. This is a great chance for any underground fan in Albuquerque to check out what we have going on out here. It is also a great chance for us to make new Homies and see what you all are doing over there. So come on out and enjoy great music and maybe find some new stuff to jam.
A special thanks must go out to Dmize for inviting us all out there. If you don't know who he is click the link and check him out!

Bridging the divide
At the beginning of the month I signed Black Project Productions and Sikone to Wicked Butterfly Entertainment as you may know, if not check out my other posts for that news! Anyway a few days after signing them I got a text from Dmize in Albuquerque, NM about a show he was putting on call Night of the Wicked. He asked if Draztik the Terrible would perform at the show. As I was answering I got another text from 806 Outlaw asking if I could get them on the show as well. So once I asked Dmize he said it was all good and all of the artists I had could come do the show! How does any of this apply to the title of my blog? Well it is simple, 806 told me he had been trying to get a show in Albuquerque for about 2 years with no success. As I asked some questions it became clear there had been issues in the past and very few Texas underground rappers had been welcomed into that city. The war of words had prevented great music from being shared across borders. It became a feud the likes of the Hatfield's and McCoy's. Because of petty egos rappers had been shut out of certain markets. So the title Bridging the divide means just that. This show on Friday night will be all of our opportunity to leave petty differences aside and enjoy a night of music together.
I do not care what kind of "beef" someone might have with another performer. We should all be professionals and adhere to a thing called professional courtesy. That means we can all be on the same show and not have to hang out or anything. We can all perform, get some love, and then go our separate ways. I am asking every artist on the ticket to please treat this night as a celebration of all of our accomplishments, because if we plan to make moves and put the SW on the map we all need to support one another professionally! I can tell you as the manager of all the artists on Wicked Butterfly we are coming there to blow the roof off the place. We will make a mark with our performances and nothing else. We will not be there to start any problems and hope you all will do the same. We don't have to like each other to co-exist.
As I have told my guys Success is the best revenge. That simply means talk is cheap and if you succeed your enemies can't say anything. I know we can make this show live as hell. I know each and every artist on there puts on a show. I know we can make it a fun night with zero issues. This is our chance to make people see we are not all wanna be thugs and criminals.
Let's all do the right thing this weekend.

Secrets to being a promoter
So I was thinking the other day, why is it so difficult for someone to be a promoter for local shows? After giving it some thought I decided I would share the secrets I have learned so far to make any promoter trustworthy, honest, and successful. Here is what I have learned:
1. Communicate! This should be self explanatory but just in case it isn't let me clarify. In order to have a successful show you, the venue, the ticket agents, and your openers need to know what is going on. If something changes with the show everyone needs to know! Make sure you have a list of people you need to talk with.
2. Organization. If you have great organization nothing slips through the cracks. You should have your show lineup out at least a month in advance so the artists know when they are supposed to be there to perform. Most artists no matter what level of success like to prepare to be on stage. If they are at the venue and have no clue when they are to perform they become very upset. Sure there might be set backs like last minute cancellations or delays in starting the show. If a group or artist drops out everyone gets moved up in the lineup. And everyone should be made aware of the change as soon as possible!
3. Trust and honesty. Simple answer to this is not to lie or screw people over to cover your investment. There is risk in doing shows. Whatever you invest, you might not get back. If you do not promote the show right or neglect to take care of people you will not have a successful show and you WILL lose money. Once you work with people and they know you can be trusted they will want to work with you again. Also if there is an opener that does not meet your expectations talk to them. If they fail to bring ticket sales, promote, or perform well then don't keep giving them spots on your show!
4. Do not charge people to perform. As local bands or artists go it takes a lot of investment on their part to make music and be successful, thus you should not charge them to perform at your show. The one exception to this would be booking a major tour or show (aka major record labels or artists). And then the fee should be as minimal as possible. I have found that by giving slots to those who pay will make sub par artists perform at your show. And as a music fan if I go to a concert and the openers are absolutely horrible I am less likely to see another show promoted by the same person. You can have your openers buy a certain number of tickets (10-20) and then it is up to them to sell them and make their money back. Any tickets sold over that amount the artists should receive a portion of the sales (usually $1-3per ticket). If you do this the need for you to charge artists will not be there and you will not only get a full show but your openers will hustle harder to make it successful.
5. Be nice. Now don't be a pushover but understand that every person involved in the show is there to make you money. So be nice to them! It isn't that hard to hang out with your openers or anyone else for that matter.
6. Live up to your promises. Make the venue/headliners payments when they need to be paid. Don't ask for more time. If you can't afford to do a show, don't! Sometimes doing 3-4 big shows a year is better than doing 3-4 crappy shows a month.
7. Promote. Do not rely on anyone else to promote the show. It is your money. So relying on your openers or the booker from the tour to do promotion is not what you need to do. If you are unwilling or unable to give the time needed to hit the ground yourself then do not promote or book shows. For every minute your openers are out promoting and selling tickets you should be out there at least double but most likely triple that.
I know it seems easy to be a promoter but I can tell you it isn't. It is super stressful, very complicated, and in many cases a complete toss up for a profit. That is why if you do not love doing it you shouldn't. I know some major labels and they have lists of promoters/bookers they will not work with. Many of these are for reasons I have stated here. If a major booker constantly comes to a city and gets screwed they will stop coming to that city. Now I am not saying I am an expert at all. I only am telling you what I know from my experience. So take it for what it's worth.
Remember when we were little we had the Golden Rule: Treat others how you want to be treated. That holds true to this day. If you do these things and follow that rule there is absolutely no reason you can't be successful.
Peace,
Juggalotus

The Amarillo Variety show
Last night was the Amarillo variety show in Amarillo, TX. Draztik the Terrible had to perform so he and I left Clovis, NM and headed out there, it is about an hour and a half or so. We got in around 5:30 Texas time and headed to our homie 806 Outlaw's house to kick it before the show. We hung out there until about 7 and headed to the venue for the show. When we got there we met up with the promoter and got our wristbands. Then it was a waiting game. We met a ton of cool homies there. Dmize came in from New Mexico which was a good time. It was all good until the chaos started!
First thing is that the promoter kept switching the lineup around. Draztik was supposed to go on first. Then he was moved to forth. Then he got bumped to fifth. Then finally he went on 8th. Everyone else was a part of the artist shuffle as I call it. No one knew when they were supposed to perform. Through most of the sets the artists either couldn't hear themselves cause the mic volume was to low or it was to high so when they went in front of a speaker there was massive feedback. I hope this was a one time fluke and not an accurate interpretation of how the promoter works as we have a few more shows to do for them.
Draztik did much better this show. He had more confidence on the mic. He also performed our newest track Love me/Hate me and it was live that's for sure. 806 Outlaw ripped the mic but his hypeman got a little too drunk and kept forgetting his verses and such. Dmize killed it and wore himself out in the process. There was a death metal band which was a definite change of pace. Some local more mainstream hip hop which sounded as you would expect. And of course the headliners Born Wicked did their thing and ended the show on a high note.
Tomorrow we are headed back out to Amarillo to a MC showcase, hosted by Sir Johnson Himself we got invited to. Draztik will perform again and will tear the roof off it again no doubt. Sir Johnson is a cool dude and I look forward to working with him in the future.
Not much else to report. There was a lot of performers but not a lot of fans but what do you expect on a Tuesday night! If there are any underground, mainstream, or any artist that would like a good honest review of your work let me know and I will check it out and post it here on the blog!
Thats it fam I am outta here!

2012 Hatchet Attacks in Farmington, NM
So this weekend was the 4th annual Hatchet Attacks show. It came to Farmington, NM this year and I was lucky enough to not only be in attendance with my son for his first show but was able to take part in the setup of the show itself. So for those that follow my blog here is everything that I saw happen at the show!
We left our home in Clovis, NM and started our 8 hour drive across the state to Farmington, NM on Thursday. We got in about 2 am and along the way we found plenty of Family headed to the show as well. Friday morning we got up and went to the venue about 12 to start working with the road crew setting up everything in the venue. When we got there the venue was completely empty. Throughout the day we move a ton of equipment including the stage, sound and light equipment, wrestling ring, Faygo, etc. I worked about 13 hours that day and at the end of the day I was completely exhausted. But the stage was setup, the lighting was done, and most of the cables were in place. The next day we arrived at about 10 am and went to work putting the finishing touches on everything. Throughout the day we encountered many of our favs from Psychopathic including Billy and DJ Clay. I can say from that experience that DJ Clay is a cool dude. He was down to earth and didn’t avoid talking to any of us. We had a little break and then 3 pm rolled around and the doors officially opened. There ended up being about 6800 Juggalos and Juggalettes in the crowd so the show was the largest I have ever been a part of.
At 4 pm JCW took center stage. There were 5 matches in total. Here is how it broke down:
- Ryda Red, Ryda Blue and Zack Gowen defeated The Freak Squad (Dom, GQ & Joey) via pin- The Weedman defeated Officer Colt Cabana via pin
- The Necro Butcher defeated Shawn Daivari via pin
- J.W.O. (Kevin Nash & Sean Waltman w/Scott Hall) defeated The Headbangers (Mosh & Thrasher) via pin
- 2 Tuff Tony defeated Kongo Kong via pin to become the new JCW Heavyweight Champion
All of the matches were hype and they put on a great show. Congrats to 2 Tuff Tony for being the new JCW Champion!
After that the ring was removed and the show was about to begin. DJ Clay was on the tables and hosting the show. First up was Cold 187. This was my first time to see him or hear his flavor of music. He put it down for West Coast Gansta rap. Since I grew up listening to that genre of the music I had a ton of respect for that guy. He had a section of his show which was a memorial to all of the fallen West Coast rappers in the game. He started with a cover of Boyz in the Hood by Eazy-E and ended with a combination of Tupac and Nate Dogg. It was completely West Coast and I absolutely loved it. After his set DJ Clay gave him a shout out and asked the Juggalos to give him another round of applause to which they booed him, which I thought was pretty shitty considering it was something new and it seemed like most really didn’t give it a chance.
Next up was Anybody Killa. His set was hella long and covered everything from his catalog of music. He killed it as usual and left Juggalos seething for more. Then came Blaze Ya dead Homie. He brought that Detroit Gansta shit to New Mexico like never before. He did all the favorites from Crypt Keeper to Dub Sack. Toward the end of his set he did a track I had never heard before and can only assume is a new track from him. It was good and was all about what he would do for a forty. Then it was time for one of the favorites, Twiztid! When they came out Madrox was sporting a blond Mohawk and Mono had the many tiny braids. This should come as no surprise to anyone but they killed it! They performed most of the favorites we have all come to know and love. They didn’t do any new material but the energy they had on stage was unmatched all night.
Finally it was time for the clowns, ICP! The stage was set and the family was ready to explode. They hit the stage with Mike E. Clark and blew the roof off of the venue. Faygo was flying and the dirt floor slowly became a nasty mix of dirt, cow shit, and faygo. They performed everything from Assassins to the dating game. Then we all got a taste of the forthcoming Mighty Death Pop. The track was really hype and I am looking forward to the album which is going to be released on 8-14-2012 at the Gathering of the Juggalos. In the end Faygo Armageddon hit Farmington and my son was finally indoctrinated into the family. We were front and center and I can say we both left totally soaked and sticky, and of course I wouldn’t want it any other way.
All in all the trip was worth the time and effort. I got to take part in a ton of stuff most of us never get to see. If you missed it this year I would suggest you don’t next year. It was one of the best shows I have been to. DJ Clay gets my respect for being the host and DJ for the entire 8 hours of music and mayhem. To all of the fam that was in attendance it should stand as a testament to the family love. I saw a lot of old school Juggalos there and the vibe made me remember why I love being a part of this family. There were only 22 arrests mostly for being drunk and disorderly and fighting. I saw juggalos picking up fallen los in the pit and making sure no one was injured there.
This blog is known as Juggalo support because we as a community need to support one another. In a previous post I covered why I love being a Juggalo. In some downer news one of our own was on his way home and got jumped by 14 young “juggalos”. I think this kind of crap needs to stop. The movement is about family love. The longer I have been a part of it the more I see young Juggalos acting stupid. Now not all of the new generation is like that but there has been a large number who have given new los and lettes a real bad name. Let’s stop family in fighting and start showing the love again. And for any young new gen Juggalos that were at the show remember that is what it is all about.

T.O.N.E-Z and Mars in Lubbock, TX
Whats up fam! I am here with my official play by play of last weekends T.O.N.E-Z and Mars show at Jakes in Lubbock, TX.
Friday my cousin CJ and I drove into Lubbock to pick up T.O.N.E-Z and Big Ian from Faygoluvers. Once we finally met face to face it was like we had been homies for ever. Fri night we chilled out and ate at this bomb Mexican place called Mar Y Tierra. It was some of the best mexican food I have had to date. Then we headed back to the hotel and chilled out. On a side note the folks at the Red Roof in are the bomb! So we chilled out all night just waiting for Sat and our hella busy schedule.
Saturday finally came and we were up and at the breakfast by 8:30! It was really good. Had some fruit waffles and OJ. Then we got dressed for the day and headed to the mall for more Promo. We spent about 2 hours at the mall passing out flyers and having CJ filming T.O.N.E-Z meeting and taking photos. While out we decided it would be a great idea to have my cousin shoot a music video for T.O.N.E-Z new track "Spotlight" off his High Voltage album. We spent a little time at the studio that me and Draztik do our music at. T.O.N.E-Z was able to meet our music producer Scott and get to see where the magic happens. Then we had to go back to the hotel and pick up my boy Jay and my wife. We all went out to lunch and had steak and seafood. We dropped T.O.N.E-Z off at the hotel so he could catch a nap and it was off to Jakes for soundcheck. All the openers were there and soundcheck went well. Back to the hotel to get T.O.N.E-Z for the meet and greet. It was a very intimate meet and greet with a few people there. Took T.O.N.E-Z back to the hotel so he could get ready for the show. I went back to Jakes cause it was showtime. We delayed the start about 30 min so people could trickle in. Finally at 8:30 pm Worlds Kollide Records hit the stage for a devistating 20 min set. After them came my homies Black Project Records, 806 Outlaw and Narkotixx, theyhit the stage and left nothing off. After that the SKSCC crew hit it followed by Sikone aka Mickey Mangles and both of his groups, Tierrosos and S.M.K., the crowd was live. Then my artists Draztik hit the stage for his first ever appearance. He seemed nervous at first but once he fell into a comfort zone he killed it. DRP was supposed to be next but fell ill and was replaced by Leaders of the Lost. They did a really good set and had the crowd prepped for T.O.N.E-Z. Once T.O.N.E-Z hit the stage it was obvious he was in his zone. He killed old tracks, new tracks, and everything in between. I overheard some in the crowd saying it was the best live show they had ever seen and I can't say I disagree. After he left the stage the club cleared out. Not sure why everyone left cause Mars was still having his set. We got the people that had gone out for fresh air back in and Mars hit the stage. He did his set and killed it for the 30-40 remaining people (much love to him for that). The show was over. I had finally had my first show and while financially it was unsuccessful there was a lot of good things that happened.
So the show was over and all of the remaining audience and all of the openers still there were able to hit the parking lot and be in the T.O.N.E-Z video! We hope to get that released the next few weeks so be on the look out for that. Thank you to all the Fam that came out and supported the show. I appreciate all of you and love each and every one of you. Thank you to all the acts that performed without you I would have had no show. Mars and Mastamind is next so be on the lookout for that info!
All in all it was a good show. Some things on the horizon for me, well I have 2 more groups that might possibly fall into the Wicked Butterfly Family, Mars and Mastamind will be in Lubbock July 12 to kill the underground scene, and Draztik has his album we need to finish and get out to you guys in Dec of this year! So it will be a busy summer for your boy Juggalotus. Be on the lookout as I post new info here and please go show any shows here in the Lubbock/Amarillo/Albuquerque area underground scene some love. The promoters around here hustle hard to make this area a viable stop on any Psychopathic tour and if we can't show them how strong the family is here we might never get any of our big family here.
Peace til later,
Juggalotus

That includes a meet and greet with none other than T.O.N.E-Z the day of the show, a copy of his 2008-2011 Underground Collabs CD, and getting some of your stuff autographed! He is definitely a cool dude to hang out with and the VIP is worth the extra $10 for the CD alone.

The headliners can't be beat. First we have T.O.N.E-Z. He hails from New York and is most popular for his hit track "Long Hard Times to Come" which happens to be the theme song for the wildly popular hit show on FX called Justified. He earned an emmy nomination for the song and became the first rapper ever nominated in that category. He brings that East Coast Flavor to this show. Next is Mars. He came through here with Boondox not to long ago and tore it up. I did an interview with him on that tour and you can hear that here. He is coming from the West Coast and bringing that horrorcore we all love. He just released the Zodiac Mixtape on March 20 and is most definitely a CD you need in your collection. He is cool as hell to and we are so happy to have him on the show.
But that's not all that is going down! Jakes has a fully stocked bar so you can come and get tore up during the show.
Finally we are having a contest to find the hottest girl in the club. It is super easy. Buy your ticket, come to the show and sign up for the contest, get on stage and we will let the crowd vote. The winner will receive a $100 prize. How easy is that! A $15 investment and you could walk out with a Benjamin in your pocket.
So get your tickets now! Tickets are also available at Ralph's Records in Lubbock, TX or by contacting any of the openers or me. Super easy to score tickets to the show.

9 days left!!
What up family!! We are only 9 days away from complete devistation hitting Lubbock, Tx. Thats right I said it. 9 days til T.O.N.E-Z and Mars roll through and leave the family in awe of what they just witnessed. So for those people who have yet to check out my other posts about the show here is the lineup top to bottom:
S.K.S.C.C. killas Doddy B and J Trilla
Worldz Kollide Records
Black Project Productions
Mickey Mangles
Draztik the Terrible
The DRP
T.O.N.E-Z
Mars
I can say if that lineup does not get you out to the show check your pulse man cause you are probably dead. This show is going to be killer! Tickets are still available online at http://tickets.frontgatetickets.com/choose.php?a=1&lid=66275&eid=75103
For those ninjas and ninjettes without the option to buy online there are now tickets available at Ralphs Records in Lubbock! They are located here: 3322 82nd Street Lubbock, TX 79423
If you still can't find em and know any of the openers they all should have a hard copy in their hands for you to pick up as well!! So there you go 3 different ways for the family to make it out and support local underground artists and see 2 of the undergrounds greatest all in the same night.
Did I forget to mention my girl Special K will be hosting a contest to find the hottest girl in the club? If you think that is you buy a ticket, come to the show, sign up, and hit the stage! It's that easy. A $15 investment and if you win a prize of $100! It is that easy.
Jakes has a full bar so getting lit will not be a problem.
So lets see what we got going on Hot music, Family love, Hot girls, Alcohol, and cheap tickets! This is going to be hot I can garuntee a good time. Oh and I forgot to mention if you get the VIP tickets you will get to do a meet and greet with T.O.N.E-Z the day of the show and he is bringing free stuff for you all! Those tickets cost a little more, $25, but they are definitely worth it. Oh and he is bringing his big Homie Ian from Faygoluvers!
I got nothing but love for the Family always! Let's make Lubbock feel the love and unity and make this show hype as hell for all the musicians, they definitely deserve it!
